Where do you get your funding to provide these services?
We get our funding from generous people like yourself as well as partnering with Corporate sponsors.
What qualifies BLISS to offer these services?
The founders of BLISS, Dyna and Kevin Jones have been in the Senior Care business for over 15 years and see the needs of so many underserved Seniors who cannot afford care services. We want to make a difference.
What service does BLISS provide?
BLISS will provide funding to be used for paying BLISS approved, licensed care providers to give FREE in-home care services, such as light housekeeping, assist with personal hygiene, medication reminders, meal preparation, and wellness checks, to name a few.
Who will benefit from BLISS?
Low-Income Seniors that live in Senior Communities such as senior mobile homes and subsidized Low-Income Senior Apartments.
Where is BLISS available?
BLISS will be seeking out Senior communities in San Diego East County area to provide services to.
How do I qualify for BLISS?
BLISS will provide an application to help determine the level of services available based on the individual monthly income, age, and verify that you live in a senior community.
What if I don’t qualify for the BLISS program, but need help?
The licensed care provider working in a given community will be available to provide a custom service plan of as little as 1 hour a week that can be broken up into two separate visits. The industry standard has a 4 hour minimum for days that services are provided. This can present a substantially more affordable option for those who just need minor assistance.
BLISS can be your resource to tap into other Non-Profit Organizations that have different programs for Seniors.
